Data prices soar

Zimbabwean internet users continue to sing the blues.

State owned Telecomms giant, Telone has just about tripled it’s prices for data as broadband prices continue to soar.

The price for blaze uncapped data rose from $2100 to $6200/month. This comes a few days after it’s nemesis, ZOL steeply raised its data prices which resulted in an outcry from users. Attached herewith is the price schedule for Telone.

The steep rise is prices doesn’t seem to be matched by requisite service as internet connectivity and speeds are very low and unrealiable. The suffering for Zimbabwean broadband users continues with no answer in sight.

Telecoms regulator Potraz officials couldn’t be reached for comment at the time of going to press.

Below is the new Data price schedule for Telone.
