THE heavy handedness of Zanu PF repressive apparatus has yet again been shown through the arrest of MDC Alliance Binga North legislator Prince Dubeko Sibanda.
He was yesterday arrested for distributing face masks labelled ‘ZanuPF must Go’.
The parlimentarian notified his Twitter followers yesterday that he was arrested for giving Pick n Pay employees the mask.
“So tomorrow I am attending the ‘interview ‘ at CID Law & Order, Byo. I had to drive 600km to explain myself why I gave 2 @PicknPay employees face masks inscribed #zanumustgo & to think I am the provincial leader of @mdczimbabwe sworn to oppose @ZANUPF_Official,” he said.
Self-exiled Professor Jonathan Moyo shared images of the Parliamentarian awaiting the interview.
“Honourable Prince Dubeko Sibanda, MDC-A MP for Binga North at Bulawayo Central Police Station, waiting for Law and Order officers to answer incredible and outrageous charges about the #ZanuPFMustGo mask that he’s wearing!,” Prof Moyo said.
