Zimsec Classes To Open Soon – Parents Cry

Zimsec examination classes are set to open in 10 days on the 28th of September and it is havoc from all all corners as parents are worried about the safety of their kids.

Cambridge examination classes opened on Monday this week.

In an interview with 263times, Grace Mukwati who has a son writing his Advanced level exams this year said she is not at peace with the opening of schools in this corona virus pandemic.

“I’m afraid for my son, what if he contacts covid -19 at school? How safe are the schools from the virus?” She said.

Other parents like baba Tinaye with kids writing form 4 and grade 7 respectively said they are afraid that their kids will just fail the exams as they did not have enough time to study this year.

“What will they write? they only went to school for one term this year, do you think they will pass the exams?” Baba Tinaye said.

Meanwhile, Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Minister Monica Mutsvangwa assured parents and everyone else that the schools are disinfected and therefore safe from the corona virus.

“Cabinet approved that the Zimsec examinations should start on 1 December, 2020” Minister Mutsvangwa said.
