Telcoms Donate To Mpilo Hospital

Two telecommunications companies, NetOne and TelOne has donated a newly furnished 35 bed Ward B5 at Mpilo Hospital in Bulawayo.

Speaking during the handover ceremony today in Bulawayo, ICT, Postal and Courier Services Minister Jenfan Mswere said it is imperative for corporates to assist government during the time of crises.

“It becomes imperative for corporates to assist the Government by mobilising resources towards mitigation and containment of the crisis”, He said.

Minister Mswere said the commitment was pledged to president Mnangagwa in April this year and was used to support various hospitals in the country.

“A fortnight ago we were at Sally Mugabe Hospital witnessing the fantastic work by NetOne and TelOne, and today I am excited to be unveiling a newly refurbished 35 bed Ward B5 here at Mpilo Hospital.

“This commitment was pledged to his Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, at State House in April this year,” said Minister Mswere.” He said.
