Minister of primary and secondary Education, Cain Mathema says the government will replace all teachers that are failing to report for duty.
Minister Mathema said there are already 10 000 unemployed teachers on standbye to replace those that are on strike.
Some teachers did not show up at work when schools were opened on Monday demanding personal protective equipment (PPEs) and better salaries.
