Grade Seven Exams Start Tomorrow

Tomorrow grade seven candidates registered for Zimsec will write as scheduled  for their Zimsec examinations however most learners are afraid to sit for the exams.

Parents are happy that most teachers finally came back to work and prepared learners for examinations.

Mai Omega from High fields told 263times that she is happy that grade seven pupils will finally sit for Zimsec exams.

”We are happy as parents for our children to write their exams tomorrow  finally. last week teachers were coming to work at my child’s school Tsungai Primary School have been revising  with them and as parents we are hoping for the best.” She said.

Another parent from Kambuzuma said they are confident that their children are going to pass with good results.

”We are also confident that the pupils are going to pass the exams as they have successfully completed the syllabus now , we were helping our children by sending them to extra lessons.” He said.

Government said examination centers have been disinfected in line with Ministry of Health and Child Care Guidelines to combat Covid -19.

”As a parent am just praying for the safety of our children, we heard that Zimbabwe last Sunday recorded 9 950 cases of the Covid- 19,” said one parent.

Meanwhile, Dereck Shumba a grade 7 pupil  from Kurai Primary School told 263times that he is not ready for the exams.

” Inini hangu handis ready takanyanyozorora due to Covid 19 apa  teachers have not been coming to school dai tamakirwawo netsitsi patichanyora.” He said.

However, grade seven pupils were urged not to panic by their teachers.

”Our teachers urged us not to panic and it makes me ready,” Said another student at David Living Stone Primary School.
