A Zimsec employee has found himself trouble after he stole and leak exam papers for this year’s ‘O’ level examinations.
Reports has it that the 22 years old Zimsec employee at Zimsec Norton Printing, Arnold Maimba has since been arrested and the police is hunting down all the people who bought the exam papers.
Maimba is accused of selling ‘O’ level exam papers for mathematics paper 2 and English paper 1 and 2 on 27November and hid them in his jersey before smuggling them out.
Maimba sold the papers to prospective candidates well ahead of the scheduled date for exams.
The Herald newspaper reports that Maimba appeared before Harare Magistrate Mrs Victoria Mashamba on Saturday and the accused is facing charges of contravening the Zimsec School Examination Council (ZIMSEC) Act.
The magistrate postponed the bail to Monday.
