President Mnangagwa Officially Launched ZIDA

President Emerson Mnangagwa yesterday launched the Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA) raising hope to the country that it will go a step further in attracting both local and foreign direct investments.

President Emerson Mnangagwa confirmed this on his twitter handle.

”Yesterday, I officially launched the Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA). It is incumbent upon all heads of ministers to be clear of the  role of this strategic national institution and ensure that potential investors under their respective sectors are accordingly.” The post reads.

The president urged the ministers to be clear of the role of strategic national institution and to ensure that potential investors are perfect as it is upon them.

The launch of ZIDA means that the investors will now be clear about incentives, since the agency is mandated with crafting lucrative packages that can easily lure investors.

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry Of Information, Mr Nick Mangwana posted on social media what ZIDA chairman Mr Busisa Moyo said.

”ZIDA Chairman @BusisaMoyo says ZIDA is the tool that will be used to unearth the value that lies in Zimbabwe, He says ZIDA brought together 3 institutions which are ZIA Joint Venture Unit, Zimzesa, he says the CEO has already assembled best talent with international experience .’The post reads.
