Information and Technology giant Afrosoft has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce in Harare today.
The MOU is meant to help Small to Medium Enterprises to contact a smart business platform where services, payments and everything else that concerns business is going to take place.
Addressing the media in Harare yesterday, Chief Executive Officer at Afrosoft corporation Mr John Mberi said the MOU was mainly focused on business entities and he insisted that the implementation of the smart business hub will ensure a smooth flow of doing business as well as alleviating payment methods for small to medium enterprises sector in this period where the country is suffering from the Covid-19 lockdowns.
“This event is an event between businesses as represented by the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce and it is also an enabler of business which is a software development called Afrosoft,
What they have developed is an afro business platform which will enable a smooth flow of business which will ensure that all business services, payments and everything else that concerns business is going to be done online,” he said.
The event was attended by Provincial Development Coordinator of Harare Metropolitan Province Mr Tafadzwa Muguti, Zimbabwe National Chamber Of Small and Medium Enterprises President Mr Daniel Chinyemba, Afrosoft GOvTech Chair Mrs Sekeso, Zimbabwe Women’s Microfinance Bank Head Of Operations Mr Chikanya and Chief Executive Officer at Afrosoft Corporation Mr John Mberi.
Afrosoft is a mobile solutions provider for Mobile Network Operators {MNO} across the African continent and it provides Bulk SMS, Two way messaging and WhatsApp for Business, it has also worked with South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.
