Harare To Experience Power Cuts At The End Of This Week-ZETDC

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company says Harare region will have power cuts on Thursday from 0600 hours to 1800 hours.

In a press statement ZETDC said the power cuts will be experienced because of critical maintenance due to faults.

“The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company {ZETDC} would like to advise it’s valued customers in Harare region that there will be power supply interruption on Thursday 20 May 2021 from 0600 hours to 1800 hours for the purpose of carrying out maintenance works,”said ZETDC.

Furthermore ZETDC also listed places that will not have electricity during the maintenance period.

“During this period electricity will not be available in the following areas that are Lake Chivero, Kentyre Estates plots, Sublime Township, Rydale Ridge and surrounding areas,” added ZETDC.

However ZETDC advised its customers to put all circuits on Live as they suspect that the situation maybe addressed without notice.

“Customers are advised to treat all circuits as Live during this period as power may be restored without notice,” said ZETDC.
