ALPHA Media Holdings (AMH) chairman Trevor Ncube has lost both his parents within a space of 4 days, both who succumbed to Covid-19.
Trevor Ncube’s father, Shadreck Kanyemba Ncube, passed on on Saturday morning at the age of 86 and was buried in Bulawayo the next day.
Ncube on Saturday confirmed the loss of his father on his twitter handle.
“My 86-year-old father, friend and hero succumbed to COVID-19 in Bulawayo early this morning (Saturday). A sweet, compassionate and witty man, he will be sorely missed,” Ncube tweeted.
As if that was not enough, Ncube also lost his mother today and he posted the news on social media.
“My 79 year old mother has passed away due to COVID-19. She has joined Dad and gone to be with the Lord. There is no word for what we are going through. I am praying for many Zimbabweans who are in similar circumstances and worse. Keep the faith.” Ncube said.
Meanwhile, Ncube also lost his niece, Lorraine (32), who died on Monday from Covid-19.
Trevor Ncube confirmed the news on twitter yesterday.
