Mnangagwa Real Age Exposed

Former Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo who is self exiled in Kenya says President Emmerson Mnangagwa is way older than what he claims.

The Zanu Pf first secretary claims that he was born in 1946 however, Moyo who is a former minister of Higher and Tertiary Education said he was told by anonymous sources that Mnangagwa was born in 1942 and not 1946 as he claims.

Posting on his twitter handle, Professor Moyo went on to claim that some of President Mnangagwa’s friends who were with him in Zambia and used to hold birthday parties with him were born between 1938 and 1942.

“How old is Emmerson Mnangagwa? Some who were with him in Zambia, and were born in Sept 1938, say they used to have joint birthday parties with him. In the 1980s/90s, press reports said he was born in Sept 1942. Now he says he was born in 1946. Truth is he’s turning 83 next month!

“As members of the Zanu branch in Lusaka in Zambia & although born on different dates in 1938, three persons used to hold an annual joint party to celebrate having been born in the same year, as boys of 1938, and these are Josiah Tongogara, Jonathan Mandaza and Emmerson Mnangagwa” said Jonathan Moyo.

Jonathan Moyo is one of the alleged kingpins of the defunct G40 cabal, a ZANU PF faction, who openly and staunchly opposed the Lacoste faction, led by then vice president Mnangagwa.

He skipped the country’s borders when the military under the leadership of now vice president Constantino Chiwenga removed Robert Mugabe from power.

With President Emmerson Mnangagwa alleged to be much older that what he claims and even stipulating that he will be still in power until 2030, age is believed to be one of the factors that affect one’s ability to execute duties and responsibilities.

The constitution states that a president can be removed from office if he or she is unable to “perform the functions of the office because of physical or mental incapacity.”

The issue of age is said to have played a big role in the demise of Mugabe as he made a chain of miscellaneous blunders towards the end of his political career.

Zimbabwe will go to the polls in 2023 and Mnangagwa aims to retain power until 2030.
