The Public Service Commission has urged civil servants to get vaccinated against the Covid-19 saying those unvaccinated will not be allowed to report for duty.
This came following Cabinet decision on Tuesday to bare unvaccinated civil servants from accessing work premises.
In a statement, the Public Service Commission further urged all ministries to be cooperative.
“In line with Cabinet decision, all civil servants should be vaccinated without delay & unvaccinated members shall not be allowed to report for duty.
“All ministries are urged to cooperate as we remain alert in combatting this pandemic.” Read the statement.
On Tuesday, the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Monica Mutsvangwa during a post Cabinet media briefing said all civil servants should be vaccinated and those not vaccinated will not be allowed to go to work.
