South African Airways Harare Flights Resume

The South African (SA) Airways has today resumed flights to Harare since it’s suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020.

The first flight arrived in Harare from South Africa this afternoon.

Addressing delegates during an event on resumption of South African Airways Flights To Harare at Robert Mugabe International Airport this morning, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, Hon Mike Madiro said the resumption of SA flights will help the country to achieve it’s vision 2030.

The event was also graced by Her Excellency the Ambassador of South Africa to Zimbabwe, Thizwilondi Mabudafhasi who commended good relations between South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, today the world celebrates world tourism to raise awareness about the significance of tourism and it’s impact on the world economy.

The president of Tourism Business Council of Zimbabwe, Mr Vengai Nhau said the tourism sector welcomes the resumption of SA flights to Harare urging the airways to resume flights to other cities such as Bulawayo and Victoria falls.
