Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has promised to leave the red devils if they continue to produce poor results.
The Portugal forward sentiments comes after Manchester United lost four of their last six Premier League games.
According to Marca, Ronaldo will push to leave Manchester United at the end of the season if the Red Devils don’t finish in the top four.
The Portuguese international intends to keep playing Champions League football and is ready to quit Old Trafford if the his side fails to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Manchester United are currently 6th in the Premier League, 5 points behind 4th place Liverpool.
In his recent interview, Ronaldo made it clear that he did not return to the Premier League simply to see out the remaining years of his career.
“I said what I felt in that moment, that I’m here to win things,” he told Sky Sports, about his speech upon arriving at United in the summer.
“Manchester United is a sign of winning things and I’m not here for holidays.
“I said to them I see huge potential in this team. They have very young players, players with potential, and I’m here to win and to help the team to build new stuff.”
