Zimbabwe has been appointed as African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO)’s board Chairperson.
Announcing on social media, ARIPO congratulated Zimbabwe for being appointed Chairperson as well as Botswana and Zambia for being appointed as her vice Chairpersons.
“We congratulate Zimbabwe on being elected Chairperson of the ARIPO Administrative Council.
“We also extend congratulations to Botswana for being elected vice Chairperson and Gambia as Second Vice Chairperson.”
The African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) is an inter-governmental organization (IGO) that facilitates cooperation among member states in intellectual property matters, with the objective of pooling financial and human resources, and seeking technological advancement for economic, social, technological, scientific and industrial development.
