By-elections to fill vacant seats in the National Assembly will be held on the March 26 2022, President ED Mnangagwa has announced.
The announcement was made in Proclamation 1 of 2022 published under Statutory Instrument 2 of 2022.
The parliamentary by-elections will fill at least 28 seats left vacant following the recall of Movement for Democratic Change Alliance legislators.
Nominations close in 20 days on 26 January.
