A couple from Nigeria has been arrested by the Nigerian police for selling the wifes’ friends’ head for N70 000.
Kehinde Oladimeji (43) and his wife Adejumoke Raji (35), were caught with different human parts contained in a bowl at Leme area of Abeokuta.
Pastor Olanrewaju, a co tenant of the couple had informed the community about an offensive odour coming out of their room which led to the suspects arrest.
While confessing, the husband said, his wife singlehandedly killed the victim.
“There was a day my wife invited her friend, a lady to our house for a visit, the first time she came was on a Tuesday, she came that particular day and went back home.
“But the second day she came, it was a Thursday, that day, my wife cooked noodles and eggs for the lady, which she ate and later, the lady went into the bathroom to shower.
“When it was getting dark that day, I asked my wife when her friend would go home, but my wife said she was weak and would need to lie down to regain her strength, I sat at the backyard, but when I returned to the room, I realised my wife had killed her friend and dismembered her body,” he said.
Oladimeji added that the head of the victim was later sold at N70,000 to Oluomo from Iban and the other parts of her body were packed in the bowl.
