The ruling Zanu Pf has given assurance to Director of Information and Publicity, Cde Tafadzwa Mugwadi that his job at Zanu Pf is secure.
Zanu Pf sentiments come after the ruling party’s official Twitter handle recently announced that Mugwadi was fired.
Addressing journalists at the party headquarters yesterday, Zanu Pf spokesperson, Christopher Mutsvangwa rubbished these claims insisting that it was the works of “detractors.”
He described Mugwadi as a “hardworking” man and a “patriot.”
“There is an unspoken alliance between Triple C and some MDC elements and some people who may manifest themselves as Zanu Pf some including on the greyline so they never tie to hijack Zanu Pf.
“The other day I couldn’t even speak on Twitter because all my accounts have been hacked and they did not come from my name.
“The opposition assumed that because I’m new something may happen between me and my director. He is a hardworking young man, that’s why he is here and he will be here for a long time until whatever time he fits he wants to go because he does his job well,” he said.
Ambassador Mutsvangwa also appreciated the attendance of people at the first Zanu Pf by-elections rally which was held in Epworth last Saturday.
