The Bulawayo City Council (BCC) has partnered a local firm to launch a new parking system.
The country’s second city partnered Tendy Three Investments Parking Solutions (TTI) to launch what they called is a “modern smart parking system” which comes into effect on the 18th of February.
TTI launched the service today and the new electronic system is meant to create a congestion free City.
TTI is a provider of on and off street parking management systems.
In a statement, TTI said parking fees will be charged at $1 or ongoing bank equivalent.
“Introduction of competent vehicle traffic management systems, underpinned by re-introduction of efficient mass urban transit transportation systems is envisaged to decongest urban centre road networks,” read the statement.
