ZRP Sets Tough Conditions For CCC Weekend Rally

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has issued a statement announcing the conditions that the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) party of Nelson Chamisa should follow during their rally in Highfields over the weekend.
In a statement yesterday, the ZRP said in order to maintain peace and order, the party members are expected to control their behaviour during and after the rally.
The statement further added that, busing of people is strictly prohibited, no toy-toying or convoys of supporters singing allowed and the ZRP will disperse crowds if CCC deviates from these conditions.
“You shall not block the throughfares and roads around the venue of your launch, busing in of people from other constituences is strictly prohibited.
“Your members shall not be involved in toy-toying, convoying of vehicles of people chanting slogans and singing and disseminating hateful and defaming information.
“Any deviation from the above result in police dispersing your gathering,” read the statement.
The rally will be the first of the CCC party.
