Delta Workers Donate To Bako Redonhodzo Old People’s Home

Delta Corporation workers yesterday donated groceries to Bako Redonhodzo old people’s home in Highfields, Harare.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Delta Corporation, general manager -Corporate affairs Ms Patricia Murambinda said the groceries were donated to the old people’s home as a post Christmas gift by Delta workers as a way of giving back to the community.

She said the groceries were worth ZW$250 000.

Ms Murambinda said Delta workers also donated to Amaveni old people’s home in Kwekwe and to Chinyaradzo Children’s Home through their employee charity activity.

Meanwhile, Bako Redonhodzo old people’s home, home director Ms Emilia Mukaratirwa expressed gratitude to Delta workers for the generous gift.

She said the home had been receiving fewer donors ever since the Covid-19 outbreak therefore the donation will go a long way.
