The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating a suspected murder case in Harare, of a 54 year old woman’s body who was found in New Tafara on 5 March at around 0645 hours.
The body of the victim was found half-naked with pants below pulled below and a deep cut on the head with one empty condom sachet and five unused condoms at the crime scene.
In a statement on Monday, national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said investigations are underway.
“The ZRP is investigating circumstances surrounding a murder case in which the body of a 54 year old woman was found in New Tafara, Harare on 5 March 2022 at around 0645 hours.
“The body was half-naked with pants pulled below knee level. A deep cut was observed on the head with one empty condom sachet and five unused condoms scattered at the crime scene,” Ass Comm Nyathi said.
Meanwhile, in another murder case the police is also looking into an incident that happened on 5 March where a Chegutu man (22) was stabbed several times all over body at Pickstone mine by five unknown suspects who attempted to steal ore at the mine.
