Chamisa Promises ED ‘Pension’ After 2023 Elections

President Mnangagwa

Citizens Coalition for Change {CCC} president, Nelson Chamisa last Sunday told his supporters that President Emmerson Mnangagwa will be given a pension if he loses power in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

Chamisa said the pension will be a token of appreciation to contributions made by Mnangagwa during his tenure.

Currently, Mnangagwa is serving as the President of Zimbabwe since he seized power through a coup in November 2017.

He is 79 years old now.

Speaking during a rally at Mkoba Stadium in Gweru last weekend, Chamisa told his supporters that Mnangagwa should go and rest and let young people rule Zimbabwe.

“I saw Mnangagwa is afraid a lot, and I said don’t be worried, I will organize for your pension because you worked for this country.

“You have to rest, let me take the job. Old people should not do heavy work where there are younger people,” he said.

Meanwhile, President Emmerson Mnangawa is on record for consistently telling the opposition that they will not have access to reach at the state house.
