Nothing Will Stop Us From Ruling Zimbabwe Says ED

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reiterated that “nothing will stop” Zanu Pf from ruling Zimbabwe.

Mnangagwa sentiments come amid high hopes that the opposition party led by advocate Nelson Chamisa might remove Zanu Pf from power in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

Chamisa recently held a thank you rally in Gweru, Binga and Kwekwe which was graced by thousands of Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) supporters.

During the by-election campaigns, the youthful leader also said he will give Mnangagwa “pension” after 2023 general elections.

But addressing Zanu Pf supporters while commissioning three boreholes in Glen View, Harare last week, Mnangagwa said the ruling party has enough representation in parliament, hence they will continue to rule Zimbabwe.

“We will continue to rule this country as we have a two-thirds majority in Parliament and nothing will stop us from ruling this country,” he said.

Meanwhile, Zanu PF has ruled Zimbabwe since 1980, with the opposition managing to have a government of national unity in 2009, when the late Morgan Tsvangirai was inaugurated as Prime Minister, Thokozani Khuphe and Arthur Mutambara as Deputy Prime Ministers.
