Police Hunt Tinashe Nyamande Over 63m Theft Charge

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is appealing to the public for information, which may lead to the location of Tinashe Nyamande, who defaulted court proceedings over allegations of stealing ZW63 million from a Trust Property.

According to the police, Nyamande’s last known address is Mashingaidze Village, Chief Mutekedza in Chivhu.

In a statement, Police national spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the accused was arrested and sent to court, but later defaulted.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Tinashe Nyamande (39) who is being sought for a Theft of Trust Property case involving ZW$63 631 244, 39.

“The suspect was arrested and sent to court but later defaulted, resulting in the issuance of a warrant of arrest. His last known address is Mashingaidze Village, Chief Mutekedza, Chivhu,” reads the statement.

Nyathi added that if members of the public find Nyamande’s location, they should report to the nearest police station or call the police departments on the cell numbers below.
