Investigations On How Mine 6kg’s Gold Seizure Begins

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has said it has begun investigations on the seizure of 6kg’s of gold from How Mine CIT van on Tuesday.

In a statement, the police said, “The ZRP is investigating an armed robbery case which occurred at the 21km peg along Bulawayo-How Mine Road on 04/10/2022 at around 0730 hours”.

Recently, ZRP arrested armed robbers and murderers in connection with the death of Marondera businessman.

The businessman, Mr. Paul Chimoka, died in Marondera on 23rd September at 0200hrs.

Armed robbers nabbed in connection with the Marondera callous murder were Josephat Muchenje (58), Bright Magodhi (22), Crispen Kado (26), Felix Dapi (50) and Tatenda Mudzangairi (27).

The suspects were also linked to other six cases of robbery and a murder case.

Meanwhile, the police are pulling up socks with investigations, as the country is now becoming a den of armed criminals.
