Castle Braai Fiesta Bounces Back

The long-awaited Castle Braai festival is set for October 15 at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare, organizers of the colorful event have said.

The popular and strictly no-under-18 fest funded by Delta Beverages through their Castle Lager brand was celebrated from home due to COVID-19 in both 2020 and 2021.

However, the government has relaxed COVID-19 regulations, which is a blessing for the flashy event, which will take place as usual this weekend.

Top artistes artistes like Winky D, Nutty O Freeman and Enzo Ishall, accompanied by DJ sets from DJ Naida, Etherton B, Made Her Believe, DJ Andile Brown and Abisha Palmer, have been roped in to entertain the crowd at the event.

In a statement, Delta announced the cost prices of the tickets for general access up to VIP, insisting there will be different types of beer and fresh meat for braai at an affordable price.

“The general access ticket cost is US$10 dollars, and the VIP tickets are US$50. Each ticket will come with a braai pack and a complementary Castle Lager Draught Beer.

“All beers will be available at very affordable prices, accompanied by a variety of fresh meat for the braai from our trusted meat supplier partners,” reads the statement.

“Our Beer, Our Braai and Our Friends” will be the theme of the festival this year.
