Blessing Sithole, a Zimbabwean man who deals in illicit drugs and substances, was slapped with a 3-year jail sentence for selling crack cocaine and heroine in Canterbury, United Kingdom.

Sithole was arrested in April 2022 following an operation by Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team.

According to investigations held by the Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team, Sithole sold drugs in a blue BMW that he had reportedly hired from a car hire.

Reports say Blessing Sithole was part of a county line network that advertised their drugs using the text name ‘Taylor’ and Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team identified a blue BMW that they believed was being used by the county line network.

Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team further investigated that the blue BMW was hired out in Sithole’s name.

On the 26th of April, a search was carried out at Sithole’s home, in his absence, after a warrant was obtained.

He was arrested elsewhere in the city on the same day, press reports say.

Following the search, Sithole was found in possession of an undisclosed amount of cash which the police referred to as being large and his two phones were also seized

When the phones were examined, Blessing Sithole offered drug users ‘best of both’ , a reference to heroin and crack cocaine.

After having been released on bail, Sithole is said to have obtained another hired car and phone, with the intent to potential further drug dealing, leading to his arrest in June where he was charged with the supply of class-A drugs.

And while appearing before the Canterbury Crown Court on Wednesday 2 November 2022, Sithole admitted to the charge and was subsequently sentenced to three years in prison.
