Police are searching for two people who shot two men in the Durban city centre on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said the unsuspecting victims were seated in a vehicle on Dr Yusuf Dadoo Street when the shooters opened fire.
“The victims, believed to be in their 30s, succumbed to their injuries at the scene,” Netshiunda said.
Emergency personnel who rushed to the scene at about 16:00 told News24 the two men sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
“The suspects are reported to have fled the scene in a grey Toyota Avanza with Durban registration plates. The motive for the crime has not been established, and police investigations are continuing,” Netshiunda said.
