Four Dead In Cape Town Mass Shooting

Four people were killed in a mass shooting in Driftsands, Cape Town overnight, with the casualties discovered on Thursday morning.
Police spokesperson Novela Potelwa said Mfuleni police and crime scene experts were still at the site where the bodies of two men and two women were found by locals.
“Reports from the area indicate that a vehicle had entered the Covid-19 informal settlement at about 23:00 last night. Shortly thereafter, gunshots were heard and the vehicle left the area,” Potelwa said.
On Thursday morning, residents discovered the bodies of a man and a woman with gunshot wounds in a shack and alerted the police.
“A few metres from the one dwelling, inside another shack, two more bodies of a man and a woman were also found with gunshot wounds.”
The victims’ identities have not yet been determined.
