Exiled former cabinet minister Jonathan Moyo has implored Zimbabweans to dump politicians who keep their strategies a secret.
Without mentioning Nelson Chamisa by name “disgruntled” Moyo says politicians or political parties that keep strategies a guarded secret are clueless.
“If a politician who wants your vote tells you that ‘everything is gonna be alright’ while they’re keeping their plan or structures close to their chest as a ‘secret strategy’, beware; you are dealing with a clueless and desperate voodoo politician who is out of his or her depth!”
“So, now, where are all those who were saying a structureless political party is winning the Nigerian election going to hide?
Facts are stubborn. In politics, without structures, you are doomed!” adds Moyo.
Meanwhile, Chamisa has been keeping his party structures a closely guarded secret for fear of infiltration and in order to avoid exposing his party members to abuse by ZANU PF.
Moyo has been attacking Chamisa for keeping his party structures a secret. The exiled former Zimbabwean Minister who is not taking a break, recently castigated the silent youthful leader on other positive political viewpoints stated by the London based SABI Strategy Group.
Moyo dismissed the recent survey by the Group which had showed that the opposition leader Nelson was going to defeat his incumbent President Emmerson Mnangagwa in the crunch 2023 elections, describing it as a “fatal desperation” which lacks objectivity.
According to the survey, if Zimbabwean elections were to be held now, Chamisa would garner 53% of the vote, Mnangagwa 40% and other parties 7%.
However anonymous sources suspects that Moyo’s actions to constantly criticize Chamisa might be a set of fallacy displays to impress the ruling party so that he will comfortably acquire a passport to regain control and join the party structures.
Last year, Moyo and Zhuwao apologised for their unruly behavior and for supporting the opposition after they fled from marauding state security agents in 2017 together with former Local Government and Youth Minister Saviour Kasukuwere.
The two denied that they wanted to join the opposition parties led by Nelson Chamisa.
The trio were kingpins of the Generation 40 faction of the ruling party, which opposed the elevation of President Emmerson Mnangagwa to replace former President Robert Mugabe.
