A Harare High Court Judge has sentenced Tafadzwa Shamba and Tapiwa Makore Snr to death over the killing of Tapiwa Makore Jnr in 2020.
In a ruling handed down today, Justice Munamato Mutevedzi, who convicted the two Murehwa residents for the murder of Tapiwa Makore, said, “your blood will pay for Tapiwa’s blood.”
The two convicts were found guilty of the murder of the 7yr old Tapiwa Makore, who happened to be Tapiwa Makore Snr’s nephew. The two allegedly murdered the child for ritual purposes as they sought to “boost their business.”
This brings to finality the long running case which had kept the nation spellbound for over 3yrs.
