A Harare man from Glenview suburb reportedly lost his Honda fit at Punch Line Sports Bar in Glen Norah B.
According to a police report, the complainant, Paradzai Muzondo, parked his silver Honda Fit on July 16 at Punch Line Sports Bar ostensibly to collect his money at Farai Liquor Bar and upon his return the motor vehicle was nowhere to be found.
Zimbabwe Republic Police Provincial spokesperson for Harare, Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the incident.
“On 16 July 2023 around 2100 hours, the complainant parked his motor vehicle, a silver Honda Fit registration number AEI 3280 chassis number GD3-1541436 and engine number L15A1147450 at Punchy Line Sports Bar Glen Norah B Shops, Harare after locking all the doors and closed all the windows.
“The complainant proceeded to Farayi Liqour Bar to collect his money from the Bar owner. The complainant returned around 2145 hours and discovered that his motor vehicle was missing.
“He looked around the shopping centre in search of his motor vehicle but to no avail. The complainant made a report at ZRP Glennorah on 16 July 2023 around 2300 hours. Scene was attended and no arrests were made. Total value stolen is US$ 4 200-00 and no recoveries were made,” said Chakanza.
