Another Honda Fit Stolen In Waterfalls

A Harare man was left counting his loses after his Honda Fit vehicle was allegedly stolen in Waterfalls recently.

The Man, Tinomutenda Makoho, reportedly parked his blue Hybrid Honda fit at Muridziwenyaya Bottle Store Parking area in Waterfalls and rushed into the bar to seek abluition facilites.

Upon returning Makoho could only see the ground where he had reportedly left is car. He is reported to have left his vehicle open and the keys in the ignition.

Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Harare provincial spokesperson Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the incident, adding that investigations are in progress.

“On the 25th of August 2023 and at around 2230 hours, the complainant parked his motor vehicle, a blue Hybrid Honda Fit on registration numbers AFV 7841. The complainant left his car keys on ignition and got inside the bar as he sought ablution facility.

“An unknown accused person noticed that the ignition was on, he entered the motor vehicle and drove off. Few minutes later, the complainant returned back to where he had parked his motor vehicle and discovered that it had been stolen. The complainant proceeded  to ZRP Waterfalls and made a report at ZRP Waterfalls. Scene was attended, neither arrests nor recoveries were made,” said Chakanza.
