The Israeli army has killed six and injured thirty Palestinians in the refugee camps of Jenin and the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Embassy of Palestine in Harare condemned the killings, insisting they will fight back until they are free from the occupation.
The Embassy also blamed the European Union (EU) and United Nations (UN) for failing to swiftly resolve the ongoing aggression, insisting that their failure to act as international bodies has exacerbated the ongoing situation.
“The state of Palestine stresses that these Israeli crimes will not deter the Palestinian people from continuing their national struggle until they win their legitimate rights and establish their independent sovereign state with Jerusalem as its capital.
“The international community’s double standards and failure to act against the Israeli violations of Palestinian people’s rights encourages Israel to increase its crimes against our oppressed people,” reads the statement.
The execution of Palestinian nationals comes after the Israeli army frequently carries out wide-ranging arrest campaigns across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians.
According to Palestinian figures, some 4,650 Palestinians continue to languish in Israeli detention facilities, including scores of women and hundreds of minors. At least 500 of them are being held as administrative detainees, a practice in which Israel detains Palestinians without charges for renewable six-month intervals.
