Zimbabwean News You Can Trust
Controversial Malawian prophet and leader of the Enlightened Christian Gathering church (ECG) Shepherd Bushiri has rubbished recent allegations made by a local publication that he prophesied about the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader, Nelson Chamisa’s d3ath in the next three months.
In a statement, Bushiri’s church said the man of cloth’s prophecies are always publicized on social media insisting that if the alleged death prophecy was true Bushiri’s followers would have noticed it on the January 14 church’s service.
Prophet Bushiri’s church also urged news outlets to desist from publishing fake news.
The statement reads, “This is but a blatant lie, because on the said morning. The prophet never made any prophecy regarding Zimbabwe as a country, let alone about any citizen from the same country.
“The church retaliated that Prophet Bushiri never made a d3ath prophecy about Nelson Chamisa. They stated that all the prophecies made by Prophet Bushiri are available on all platforms.
“All prophecies made by our leader are made available through all our platforms which include Facebook, YouTube, satellite just to mention a few. Those who followed live and attended the Grand Entrance Service on Sunday 14th January 2024, will agree with us that the prophecy in question wasn’t uttered.
“We condemn to strongest terms false reports being publicized by the Daily Blog News for reasons better known by themselves.
“We therefore urge the Daily Blog News and other media outlets to desist from reporting defamatory and false news.”
