We Are Still On Ballot- Ostallos

Last week was another disappointing week for the Nelson Chamisa led Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) who saw its candidates being chucked out of the ballot for the February 3 by-elections by the Harare High Court.

The judgement, which was passed by Justice Pisirayi Kwenda created more misery for the main opposition which is imploding after the recall of its legislators and councillors by the party’s self-imposed Interim Secretary General, Sengeso Tshabangu.

Tshabangu’s recalls created 23 vacancies in parliament with the most affected being from Bulawayo Province.

This is likely to be a free gift of seats in the month of love to ZANU PF who failed to garner two thirds majority in parliament after last year’s disputed General elections.

Outspoken former Pelandaba-Tshabalala legislature Gift “Ostallos” Siziba said “the judgement is unscrupulous and should not be taken in consideration.”

According to Siziba, he is not deterred by the ruling and will continue his campaigns for the fast-approaching by-election which are slated for the 3rd of February.

“Our names will be on the ballot, we have appealed against that judgement and have it set aside,” said Siziba who is also the Deputy Spokesperson for the CCC.

“We are not going to allow ZANU PF to take us for fools as a people,” added Siziba.
