Moira Knight, the former wife of Zimdancehall artist Seh Calaz (real name Tawanda Mumanyi), has refuted claims made by Platinum Prince that she is responsible for her ex-husband’s illness.
Rumors about the former Kambucha brand ambassador’s health emerged following the release of his new song, “Mambo ndiMambo,” prompting speculation about his well-being.
In response to these claims, Moira Knight addressed the speculations in a Facebook post, stating that the accusations of her infecting Seh Calaz were baseless. She clarified that she had recently undergone HIV testing, which returned negative results, making it impossible for her to have infected her ex-husband.
“If you look at my pictures and don’t know me personally, you might jump to conclusions. But as for the idea that I have a disease or transmitted one to Seh Calaz—absolutely not,” she said.
Seh Calaz has been dealing with his own health issues, which have led to noticeable weight loss. He recently confirmed via social media that he is battling discomfort from ulcers and other complications, making it difficult for him to respond to messages or calls. “I’m struggling to even hold my phone,” he explained, asking for understanding from his fans.
