The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has arrested a 35 years old man in connection with the murder of a Zupco conductor in Dzivarasekwa, Harare.
It is alleged that on Monday around 9pm, a 22 years old woman was shot dead by the last passenger who disembarked the Zupco bus.
The reason behind is not yet known as the suspect didn’t steal anything.
In a statement, ZRP said the suspect was found in possession of fire arms.
“Reference to our previous message on a murder case which occurred on 13/09/21 at Kadada Shops, Dz, Hre.
“Police confirms the arrest of Campion Marowa (35) in connection with the case and recovered a .38 Astra Revolver and 2x.38 spent cartridges. Investigations are underway.” Read the statement.
