The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC), a subsidiary of the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) has announced a power supply interruption in some of the Harare suburbs.
The interruptions which are scheduled for today are going to affect Cold comfort, Dawn view, Tynwald plots, Pleasant valley, Tynwald Industry, Stortford and the surrounding areas
In a statement ZESA said:
“The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers in Harare Region that there would be a power supply interruption in the areas listed below, on Tuesday 12 October 2021 from 0800 hours to 1800 hours for the purpose of carrying out critical maintenance works. Affected areas are:
1. Cold comfort, Dawn view, Tynwald plots, Pleasant valley, Tynwald Industry, Stortford and the surrounding areas.
2. Mhishi shops, OK, Dindingwe, Mhene, Musasa, Muriranyenze, Mukute, Granary phase la, Crowborough sewerage plant, Ngamera, Tifani and the surrounding areas.
3. Parts of Mabvuku
Customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice.
The inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.”
ZESA interruptions continue to occur in all parts of the country with the power supply authority always citing that they would be carrying “maintenance” works.
