The Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has warned foreign powers against interference in the Russia-Ukraine war saying there would be devastating consequences.

In a statement, the Russian president said he authorised special military operation against Ukraine and if any foreign power interferes and threatens the country and its people, they will face Russian response.

“I decided to conduct a special military operation, its goal is the protection of people who suffered from abuse and genocide from Kyiv regime 8 years ago.

” Whoever would try to stop us and further create threats to our country, our people, should know that Russia’s response will be immediate and lead to such consequences that you have never faced in your history, we are ready for any outcome.” Putin said.

The United Kingdom (UK) imposed sanctions on five Russian banks, three wealthy individuals and that froze any assets they hold in UK.

The Russia-Ukraine war dates back to 2014 when the two countries were conflicting over Ukraine parts of Donbas region.
