Citizens Coalition for Change {CCC} vice president Welshman Ncube has refuted social media reports that he snubbed the inaugural CCC rally held at Zimbabwe grounds in Highfield last Sunday.
Ncube’s response comes after social media reports claimed he boycotted the rally.
In an interview with a local publication, Ncube said the reports are meant to create divisions between him and CCC leadership.
“I never gave a single interview to anyone on any subject. This is the work of some people with the intent to cause disharmony between me and my party,” he said.
CCC Presidential spokesperson Nkululeko Sibanda also dismissed the reports.
“It’s beer talk that you need not even to listen to,” he said.
CCC will hold its second by-elections campaign rally in Gokwe this Saturday before heading for Kwekwe where it hosts it’s third one in the high density suburb of Mbizo.
