Government says it has deployed enough resources for the repatriation of Zimbabwean students and other nationals from Ukraine.
Speaking during a Senate Question and Answer session yesterday, the government gave an update on the processes of evacuating Zimbabwean students and other nationals from Ukraine in the wake of Russia’s special military operation in that country.
“We have also managed to assist a number of students who are in Ukraine and will also continue rendering support for our citizens to be evaluated. We have put enough resources to help our nationals who are in Ukraine,” the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Honourable David Musabayana said.
Mobilisation of resources for the repatriation process will continue until all Zimbabwean nationals are safe.
“We will continue mobilising resources for the repatriation process so that our citizens are moved to safety.”
