A Durban man narrowingly escaped a robbery at his La Lucia home after three suspects allegedly gained entry into a house.
Police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshuinda said the man came back to find the intruders inside.
“One of them allegedly produced a firearm and the owner fired shots, wounding one suspect. The other two escaped unharmed. Police found a firearm in a room where the suspects were allegedly hiding before fleeing the scene,” Netshuinda said.
