The Zanu-PF Women’s League in Bulawayo has appointed prominent choreographer, dancer and musician Sandra Ndebele as the Bulawayo representative for Young Women for Economic Development.
The Young Women for Economic Development was launched a week ago by First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa in Harare, a platform for young women to push for economic opportunities and empowerment.
Among the artistes who joined the platform including social media comedienne Felistas Murata, popularly known as Mai TT. Zanu-PF proportional representative MP for Mashonaland East, Tatenda Mavetera, is also among the executive members.
A brand ambassador for the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, National Blood Service Zimbabwe, Mpilo Central Hospital and Suzuki, Ndebele describes herself as a confident woman who is not easily moved by untoward comments on her.
A versatile performer on the stage, Sandra Ndebele became a household name in the early 2000s with her 180-degree seaters which wowed big crowds at galas.
She has performed in India, Dubai, China, United Kingdom, Russia, Canada and Japan.
