National electronic funds switch and clearing house for Zimbabwe, Zimswitch has addressed the issue of hanging transactions where consumers, traders and buyers are left stranded when their electronic money transactions suddenly hang for days, resulting to inconveniences.
In an interview yesterday, Zimswitch Marketing Manager Sharon Marira said they are doing their best in insuring that the issue of hanging transactions is curbed.
‘’We are doing something, as the managing system we have come up with a disputory managing system where we take queries from different angles, both the informal and formal sectors. ’’She said.
Sharon Marira pointed out that the issue of hanging transactions could be emanating from the bank and the switch itself.
“Sometimes much of the transaction problems people face could be emanating from the banks because we are an interfacing platform or it could be our system.
“As an enabler or intermediary we then look and we assist in providing a remedy around that to see what could be the cause of hanging transactions, we are there to help customers,” She said.
‘’As we have been designated as the National Switch by the RBZ we believe we hold much importance and we are doing the very best to help on the issue of hanging transactions mainly due to network problems. Please contact us through our social media platform we are one family.’’
Furthermore, Sharon pointed out that Zimswitch works as a universal method of transferring money from one bank to another.
‘’We work closely with banks to ensure that should a customer have queries we provide prompt service delivery through the queries resolution system ,’’she said.
Zimswitch is a company that has been established for over 25 years and has recently launched a new product ZIPITSMART in September for the easy flow of transactions from one bank to the other .
