Zimbabweans Join Force Against Dendairy On Social Media

Zimbabweans have joined force on twitter in fighting for the people of Chiredzi who are set to lose their land to a dairy company called Dendairy.

Reports has it that at least 12,000 villagers in Chilonga, Chiredzi, will face imminent eviction from their ancestral lands to pave way for Dendairy which is owned by a white farmer with links to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Dendairy, which is based in Kwekwe, intends to farm lucerne grass which is used for stockfeed.

Zimbabweans have therefore took to twitter through a #BoycottDendairy that will see people revolting against buying Dendairy products.

Following are some of the tweets from angry Zimbabweans who are now viewing the whole scenario as an “apartheid”

Your Excellency, @edmnangagwa to evict 12,500 poverty stricken Chiredzi villagers for purposes of enhancing a grass farmer’s profits cannot be right. It sounds more like restoration of colonial legacy. Zim has no shortage of land, please reverse it #BoycottDendairy

We stand in solidarity and support the Chilonga Community as well as other previously internally displaced persons. People in rural areas & farming areas continue to be abused by our own government through lawfare to displace people from their ancestral land. #BoycottDendairy

Don’t use Dendairy products as much but what they’re are doing ain’t it bro. The peoples way of lives shouldn’t be disrupted for business profit motive #BoycottDendairy

Mnangagwa has shares in Dendairy. The Dendairy milk is horrible anyway, Dairyboard chimombe is a household name which is far much better than Dendairy. Dendairy milk goes bad quickly. Boycott dendairy

The regime is doing exactly what Cecil John Rhodes did to black people in 1887 kicking them out.
