Zimbabwe has moved to level 2 lockdown with the curfew now from 10pm to 5am and businesses operating from 8am to 5pm with restaurants and bars opening from 8am to10 pm.
Addressing the nation this afternoon, President Emmerson Mnangagwa said people entering Zimbabwe from other countries must now undergo a Covid-19 PCR test not more than 48 hours from the time of their departure for Zimbabwe.
He said low risk sporting activities shall resume from 0800 to 1500 hours whilst medium to high risk sporting activities shall obtain approval beforehand and offices must decongestion up to50 percent of ordinary capacity.
Intercity transport is now permitted with observance of public health measures and bottle stores may sell liquor to clients for consumption off premises from 1000 to 1600 hours whereas beer outlets & nightclubs to remain closed.
