
Urban Grooves singer, Enock Munhenga popularly known as ExQ has been named brand ambassador of an online service provider Click n Pay.
Click n Pay is the global solution for indirect procurement of goods and services for managing compliant electronic invoices with Airbus.
It currently operates in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and soon they will be in Uganda.
Speaking during the signing ceremony in Harare today, Click n Pay Chairman Mr Thomas Utete Wushe said they chose ExQ to be their brand ambassador because he is very resilient and never quits.
“ExQ has some qualities that as Click n Pay we associate with, ExQ has never been in the music to compete that’s why you have seen him working with many other artists through various collaboration. ExQ is very resilient and he never quits. Some of his peers in the urban grooves quit when the goings got tough, but ExQ remained standing.” He said.
Mr Utete Wushe said Click n Pay is expanding in the short period that they have been operating and they target both corporates and individuals.
“Our business model is not based on competing with anyone but working with everyone to transform the digital space. Our target clientele is both the corporate and individual customers so within a short period of time we have been operating, we have worked hard in e ticketing, electronic admissions, security services and online payment and a lot more is coming.” He said.
Meanwhile, during a side interview, ExQ said he was excited for being named as Click n Pay brand ambassador.
“When you are an artist the most important thing is to work on your craft and then kana craft yapera it’s amazing kuti when you start getting paid through your craft it’s the most beautiful thing so me being part of this, working with Click N Pay as brand ambassador it’s one of those things that shows kuti craft irikubhadhara and ine effect to the society so I’m excited on being the brand ambassador of the work that I have been doing all along.” ExQ excitedly said.
ExQ has been in the music industry since the turn of the century and has been awarded with a lot of awards however the musician together with his fellow singer Nutty O were arrested in June at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport accused of using fake Covid-19 certificates to fly in from South Africa.
They were however released on ZW$5000 bail each when the magistrate ruled that although they were facing a serious matter, the court had considered that they were first time offenders and were not a flight risk.
